Synopsis My Husband in Law

Mantana, a corporate woman at Hammock Company, also known as Moey Nitta Jirayuengyoon, is extremely happy as her dream is about to come true. She's preparing to marry Thirawat, or Thian Prin Suparut, a young architect at TPC Company.

Moey has secretly loved this man since her high school days. Thian's mother, Khun Sajee (Tuk-Duangta Tungkhamanee), is very fond of Moey and requested to raise her from Prapha (Ansana Burananun), a close friend, like her own daughter. This allowed Moey to be close to Thier because they lived in the same house, but Thian only saw Moey as a sister.

This wedding seems forced because Thian accidentally had a relationship with Yada Rachwin Wongwiriya, without knowing that Yada already had a husband, Polladej Nat Thephasadin Na Ayutthaya, a famous and influential politician. Polladej threatened to kill Thier, but fortunately, he survived.

When Khun Sajee learned about the situation, she worried about her son and forced Thian to register his marriage with Moey to show Polladej that he would not interfere with Yada anymore. Moey did not refuse Khun Sajee's request because she considered her a benefactor, and she herself wanted to protect Thian. Thian reluctantly married Moey because Yada and Polladej continued to harass him. Yada was devastated because she was serious about Thian, which led to physical and emotional abuse from Polladej.

When Moey and Thian's wedding was hastily arranged, Ri (Anusorn Maneetes), Thian's older brother, and Mon (Maneerat Thammaniwong), his sister-in-law, together with Mother Sajee and Prapha, organized a simple family wedding. Moey and Thian began their new life together, with Thian asking Moey to promise not to tell anyone at the company about their marriage.

Thian continued to act cold towards Moey. Even though they worked at companies near each other, he wouldn't let Moey ride in his car. But Moey still tried to be a good wife, cooking, taking care of his clothes, and even Snow, Thian's favorite cat. Even though Snow often fought with Oyua, Moey's dog, which caused Thian to scold her often. Meanwhile, Yada couldn't let go of Thier. Polladej reported this to Thada Surasak Chai-at, Yada's father, who was very displeased. Yada was furious with her father for making her married life so unhappy.

Chat Baromwut Hiranyatsathiti informed everyone in the department, including Tum Kanitkul Netbut, Kung Lalana Kongtoranin, Kob Kanin Stanley, and Moey, that Hammock would be moving to merge with TPC. This stressed Moey greatly because she knew she would have to face Thian and problems would surely follow.

On the first day after the company move, Thian immediately called a meeting. Everyone was confused and complained about Thian's harshness. At the same time, Yada continued to pursue Thian, waiting for him all day. Thian told her to leave, but she refused. Fortunately, Moey followed and confronted her, forcing Yada to leave.

Thian decided to ask Moey to resign because he was concerned that Yada would continue to harass them and might reveal their marriage. Moey insisted that she would not resign. Thian couldn't do anything and was unhappy with Moey about several issues, especially regarding the young men at the company who pursued her, including Kob and Chat, though Moey wasn't interested. On Thian's side, many women were interested in him, one of them being Khaofang Phitchapha Phantumjinda, an accountant who secretly loved Thian. When she saw Moey getting close to Thian, she started causing trouble and constantly spied on Moey's behavior.

Thian noticed Moey wearing their wedding ring and became angry, accusing Moey of intentionally wanting to announce it to everyone, even though Moey claimed she couldn't remove it. Thian didn't believe her, and they continued to argue. Meanwhile, Yada decided to divorce Polladej and rushed to tell Thian, but he wasn't interested because he didn't want to be involved with Yada anymore. This upset Yada, who then announced to everyone that Thian and Moey were married. Close friends like Beer Nattapong Chatipong, Toon Thanakorn Chinkul, and Not Wisarut Himarat were all shocked. Chet Techin Ploypetch, the head architect, also found out and quickly informed Baramee Chatchawarin Klaynark, the chairman of TPC's executive board, because it was related to Thada, Yada's father, who was buying shares in the company.
